In Malaysia, every product that transmits radio signals must be certified against the technical standards set by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) before it can be sold.
In Malaysia, communications equipment is subject to certification requirements under the Communications and Multimedia (Technical Standards) Regulations 2000, with technical requirements covering areas such as radio frequency, safety and electromagnetic compatibility. SIRIM QAS International is an MCMC-appointed certifying agency for communications and multimedia equipment.
Oh!Furwatch is preparing its wireless tracker for this certification process, so that it is assessed against the requirements applicable to products of this type in Malaysia.
